Get in the project gallery

Just one day left to show what you have worked on! 

No matter the state of your project, show your work and be sure to end up in the project gallery as a participant in the competition. Submitting a project also gives you a shot at one of the 35 prizes, with a top prize of $200,000 per genre and a total prize pool of $2,500,000! 

Remember, submissions are locked in on October 31 at 5:00 PM PT.

Make sure your project is seen! Complete all the submission steps on Devpost and your project must show it is SUBMITTED from the My projects page. This requires:

  • A URL to your published world built leveraging at least one GenAI feature within a relevant Genre. Review technical requirements here and Genre guidelines here.
  • A video demo (should not exceed 3 minutes) showcasing footage of your world. The video must be uploaded to and made publicly visible on YouTube and a link to the video must be provided on the submission form on the Competition website. Judges are not required to watch beyond three minutes.
  • A Devpost submission that includes: (1) select a genre, (2) select GenAI features leveraged, (3) Accompanying documentation, and (4) Any relevant details judges need to know.

Key factors that each make up 20% of your total score:

  • Technical: Overall level of technical expertise that can be seen in the world. 
  • Visuals and Sound: The art of the world or game should be visually appealing and enhance the overall experience. 
  • Experience Design: The world should consider the essence of the player’s experience from the moment they arrive in the world.
  • Social: The world should offer ways for people to connect and find shared moments together.
  • GenAI Usage: Use at least one GenAI feature in building your world.

 

Video Submissions

  1. Show your world
    • Clearly highlight the unique aspects of your world.
  2. Be Clear & Engaging
    • Start strong with your key message.
    • Use simple language and stay focused.
  3. Ensure Good Quality
    • Record in HD, landscape mode.
    • Ensure the audio is clear.
    • Avoid distracting backgrounds.
  4. Highlight your Genre and GenAI 
    • Show how your world is centered on a specific genre.
    • Explain how you leveraged at least one GenAI feature.
  5. Upload & Share Properly
    • Use public platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook).
    • Ensure video is accessible and playable from your Devpost submission.
