Tips for a great 3 minute demo video:

  1. Get inspired by how previous winners have shown off their worlds. Here are some recent winners:
  2. Prep your script and overall flow. Some nice things to include are:
    • Share the overall experience of your world and how users will interact with it.
    • Demonstrate how smooth and intuitive the world is when jumping in for the first time.
    • Highlight the technical aspects of your creation including how you leveraged GenAI features.
    • Show how people connect and share moments within your world
  3. Find a tool for recording and editing your video. There are many free tools available such as:
    • Windows (Windows 10 has a built-in tool called Game Bar to help you record your screen)
    • Mac (Using Screenshot in the QuickTime Player app, you can make a video recording of your computer screen)
    • Using iMovie, Canva or any other video editor to combine your recordings and add a voice over if needed.
  4. Upload it to Youtube
    • Don't wait until the last minute to upload your video! Due to file size, format, and your Internet connection, uploading a video to YouTube could take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.

Once uploaded and public on Youtube, add the URL to the video into your Devpost submission here. If you have questions on how to submit, here is a video walkthrough of the entire submission process.
